Circus Manduhai

Circus Manduhai was founded by Chimgee Haltarhuu in 2003, and has been performing in schools, libraries, and parks, for private events and parties, and has performed at the Fitzgerald Theatre and at Mall of America.

 

Chimgee came to America from Mongolia in 1991 to work for Ringling Brothers and Barnum Bailey Circus. She has been teaching circus skills to Twin Cities children over 20 years at Circus Juventas, a local circus school. Through Circus Manduhai, Chimgee shares her Mongolian culture to audiences in MN and the upper midwest.
 
Circus Manduhai’s performance is typically 30-45 minutes, with with foot juggling, acro-balancing, contortion, juggling (diablo, balls, clubs, spinning plates) unicycle, hula hoops and includes audience participation.
Circus Manduhai also does workshops for any age, including: juggling (scarves, balls, clubs, and rings), diablo, plate-spinning, hula-hoops, rolla bola, and acro-pyramids.
 

Circus Manduhai is also available to participate at cultural events to display traditional Mongolian clothing, dances, games and even display a Mongolian yurt.
